Deacon Malcolm Johnson – Mt. Pisgah Harnett

It is with sadness, that we inform you of the transition of Deacon Malcolm Johnson, 75, of 1005 Belmont Drive, Raleigh NC.

Deacon Johnson passed on Thursday, October 10, 2013, he has completed his earthly journey and has gone home to receive his Heavenly Reward.

Deacon Malcolm Johnson was a long time member of the Mt. Pisgah Harnett church family, he was the husband of Sister Phyllis Johnson. 

Deacon Johnson served faithfully in both his local church and the annual conference.

He will be sorely missed.

 

Survivors include: wife – Phyllis of the home; daughter – Carla Olds (Kevin) of
Richmond, VA.; son – Richard (Melodee) of Newport News,VA.; brothers – Herbert
(Clara) of Dunn, and Roosevelt of Seacaucus, NJ.; sister – Julia of Dunn;
mother-in-law – Iola Barrow; and 3 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 1:00PM at the Mount Pisgah Original Free Will Baptist Church, 145 Prospect Church Road, Erwin. Burial will follow in the Devotional Gardens in Dunn. Viewing will be at the church Wednesday from 12Noon - 1PM. Family visitation will be from 12:30PM - 1PM.
