Sister Gertrude H. Surles – Mt. Pisgah Harnett

It is with sadness, that we inform you of the transition of Sister Gertrude H. Surles, 65, of 304 Holiday Road, Bunnlevel.
Sister Surles passed on Monday, October 7, 2013, she has completed her earthly journey and has went home to receive her Heavenly Reward.
Sister Gertrude Surles was a long time member of the Mt. Pisgah Harnett church family, she was the wife of Deacon Earle Surles. Sister Surles served on many choirs and loved to sing praises unto the Lord.
Sister Surles served faithfully in both her local church and the annual conference.
She will be sorely missed.
Survivors: husband – Deacon Earl Surles of the home; children – Dedra Dingle
(Willie) of Bunnlevel, Ebone Surles of Fayetteville; sisters – Kay Price (Tim),
Sarah Reese both of Bunnlevel; brother – Grover Holliday of Dunn; three
grandchildren
