Pastor Dr. Margaret B. Wilson

Dr. Margaret B. Wilson was born to the late Elouise Bright  and Victor Teal; she is the second eldest of nine siblings. In December 1969 she married her high school sweetheart Brother James Wilson. To this union came three children Sharon, Edward and James. They have 13 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two daughters-in-laws and one son-in-law.

Dr. Wilson was raised in the New Hill Community where her family attended the New Hill Original Free Will Baptist (OFWB) Church. At the age of thirteen she received the Lord Jesus as her Savior and officially joined the New Hill OFWB Church fellowship. She went on to serve the Lord in various capacities during her time at New Hill including choir president, pastor’s aide member, YPCL member, mother board member and kitchen committee.

Under the leadership of Bishop Cliffous Artis she accepted the call of God on her life. In May 1995 she preached her initial sermon from the 11th Chapter of John’s gospel using the topic “He’s An on Time God”.

In November 2004 Dr. Wilson was called to Pastor Harnett Chapel Church where she continues to preach God’s word, while showing love to all for God to receive the glory. Her desire is to please the Lord with all her heart, soul and mind.
