Ministries
Deacon Board
Members are Deacon Fredrick Williams and Deacon T.C. Pearson. The duty of the board is to assist the Pastor in promoting the order and attendance, visit the sick, serve at the Lord’s Table (Communion), and make sure the Word of God is the only rules that the church live by and taught.
Mother Board
Members are Mother Odessa Williams, Mother Janice Sharpe, Mother Mary Jane Moses, Mother Alice Williams, and Mother Dessie Williams. The Mother Board at Mt. Pisgah will continue to do the work of our Lord. We will visit the sick and help all God’s children. We will also help care for the Lord’s Table.
Home Mission
Members are Sister Rhonda Williams, Sister Edith Cox, and Sister Barbara Petty. The Home Mission strives to do the work of our Lord. Through prayer and the love of our Lord, we want to be pleasing in his sight. Our mission focuses on the poor, the elderly, and small children. However, we want to show compassion to all those in need.
Trustee Board
Members are Trustee Charles Williams, Trustee Jessie Johnson, Trustee James Arthur McIntyre, Trustee Brenda Johnson, and Trustee Brenda Williams. It is the duty o the Trustee Board to concern itself with the church’s property and assets. The board maintains insurance coverage, inventories of church properties, and maintenance of church vans.
Sunday School Ministry
Sunday school is a time of teaching, sharing, and learning in an atmosphere where everyone participates.
Usher Board
Members are Deacon T.C. Pearson (President), Mother Mary Jane Moses, Sister Racine Edwards, Sister Barbara Petty, Sister Kayla Bush, Sister Keiandrea Mills, Brother Johnnie Roberson, and Brother Charles McDougald.
Psalms 84:10 – For a day in thy courts [is] better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
Financial Committee
Members are Chairman Charles Williams, Financial Secretary Sharon Williams, and Treasurer Janice Sharpe. It is the duty of the committee to maintain financial reports of the church, count, record, and deposit all collected monies. The Financial committee makes quarterly reports.
Young People Christian League (YPCL)
Young People’s Christian League consists of youth who are empowered by Christ to serve and impact the world. Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.
