Ministerial Staff
Elder Paul D. Tate
Born August 16, 1959, Paul credits his mother, the late Mrs. Lena Glenn for his integrity, discipline and self-reliance. Minister Tate began fulfilling his call to ministry forty-six years ago when he joined the New Light Missionary Baptist Church as a child. He graduated from John Wesley College in 2009 where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology, while simultaneously earning a diploma in Minister in Training from the In the Light Continuing Education Center. Minister Tate is active in his church; serving faithfully on the Male Chorus and the Mass Choir. He is also a dedicated Sunday School Discussion Leader.
He is the proud father of two beautiful children; Jasmine and Isaiah and the husband of Effie Campbell-Tate. Minister Tate has traveled on speaking engagements, representing his church as a member “called to God” to serve in whatever capacity needed. One of his favorite scriptures is Psalm 34:1.
