Our Pastor

Elder Ernest Dunn and Minister Dorothy Dunn were joined together in marriage in 1963.  From this union three children were born; Sonya, Daryl, and Jody.  They now have eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In October 1980, Elder Dunn rededicated his life to Jesus Christ.  He joined St. Paul Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God of the Americas, in Newark, New Jersey, under the leadership of the late Bishop Nathaniel Simmons.  On September 13, 1983, he was ordained as a Deacon and served in that office until August 17, 1986.  He was then called by God to go and preach the gospel and his initial sermon came from Romans 15:16.

In 1987, Elder Dunn was ordained an Evangelist and soon after called to Pastor his first church.  In 1998, the Bishop passed away and the churches split up.  They began to look elsewhere to worship. During which time he worked with Elder Roy Campbell and he invited him to come to the Annual Conference.  In 2001, Elder and Minister Dunn joined in fellowship with the Original Cape Fear and Southwestern Free Will Baptist Conference (OCFSFWBC) and have served from that time to the present.

Elder Dunn has a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and a Masters in Ministry.  He has served as the Pastor of Lillington Grove OFWB Church in Lillington, NC and Mt. Zion OFWB Church in Broadway, NC.  Elder Dunn currently serves as Pastor of Mt. Pisgah Lee OFWB Church in Sanford, NC.
