Biographical Sketch
Elder Coleman Elliott was born in Queens, New York, to Mary & Willie Elliott. He was educated in the New York City public school System and furthered his education at Baurch College / CUNY where he majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
After the tragic death of his cousin, Elder Elliott turned to Jesus Christ and accepted him as his Lord and Savior. This was under the ministry of his Spiritual Father Howard “Pop” Kelly at H. Kelly Temple COGIC, Far Rockaway, NY.
The Lord called and Elder Elliott accepted, entering into the ministry in 1991. In 1995 he was later elevated to the clerical station of Elder in the Church of God in Christ.
Elder Elliott pursued his theological studies at New York Theological Seminary and later matriculated at Bethel Bible College.
At the direction of the Lord in 2006, Elder Elliott moved to Dunn, North Carolina. One day his sister informed him that his cousin Minister Pearl Quick was preaching her initial sermon at Mount Pisgah Harnett. It was there that he met his Pastor and mentor Bishop Reginald S. Hinton.
While serving under Bishop Hinton, he had the blessing of observing firsthand the benefits that can be derived from loving God and his people.
It was while in service to the congregation at Mount Pisgah that the Lord blessed him with a true jewel in the kingdom; It was there that he met his wife Francine Elliott, who has demonstrated to him the power and beauty of the Love of Christ.
Elder & Mrs. Coleman Elliott have four daughters and four grand-daughters.
In December 2009, at the Lord’s direction Elder Elliott accepted the divine assignment to serve as the senior pastor of Lillington Grove O.F.W.B.C.
The Lord has saw fit to bless his tenure with this great body of believers with both spiritual and numerical growth.
In August of 2011Elder Elliott was humbled by an appointment to service
The Cape Fear District Union as there Vice President.
In heeding the direction and call of the Lord Jesus Christ, Elder Elliott has truly found that there are blessings in giving your life over to Christ.
