Greeting Pastors, Elders, Deacons, Mothers, and Congregational Members of the Original Capefear and Southwestern F.W.B. Annual Conference. It is with great excitement that we prepare to gather for the 2018 Mid-Year Session on May 18th and 19th . Mid-Year will be held at Sidney Grove Church of Deliverance 401 McIntyre Road, Ellerbe, North Carolina 28338. It is through much prayer and time before God that our Presiding Prelate, Bishop Frederick E. Clarida, Sr., has been given our theme for this year; “Pursuing Our Purpose” Supporting scripture; “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10. We ask that you keep our Bishops and our Annual Conference in prayer as we come together for praise, worship, and fellowship! Did you know Elder Dorothy McNeill was the  first female to be elected to serve as a pastor in the Original Cape Fear and Southwestern Free Will Baptist Conference; she was elected to serve as Pastor at Free Will Bethel Original Free Will Baptist Church.   Did you know Elder Helen Williams made history when she was elected as the first and only female to serve as President of the Joint Union in the Original Cape Fear and Southwestern Free Will Baptist Conference.   Did you know Elder Rosie Burt was the first female treasurer to serve in the Original Cape Fear and Southwestern Free Will Baptist Conference.
