Elder Thaddaeus Evans

Elder Thaddaeus Evans was born on January 24, 1989 in Wilmington, NC to Deacon Thomas and Sandra Lee Evans. He is the grandson son of Mrs. Ada Lee and the late Martin and Sarah McDougald. He has one brother, Thomas Evans. Elder Evans attended public school in Harnett County and graduated from Triton High School in 2007. He has three spiritual children DeAsia and DaKiia Murphy and DaQuan Carrington. He is a life-long member of the Mount Pisgah Harnett Original Freewill Baptist Church, Inc. where he serves under the leadership of his spiritual father, Bishop Reginald Hinton Sr. Elder Evans was nurtured by his spiritual grandfather, Bishop Allan Smith, his God father, Elder Kevin B Henry and his teacher, Elder Coleman Elliott.

Before answering the call into ministry, Elder Evans served in the youth choir was a youth usher and served as the pastor’s chief armor bearer. He preached his initial sermon on December 13, 2009. In November 2013, he was elected Vice President of the Cape Fear & Southwestern Y.P.C.L. In November 2015, he was elevated to Elder in the Cape Fear and Southwestern Original Free Will Baptist Annual Conference. In August 2018, he was elected as Pastor of Holiness Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church in Godwin, NC. Elder Evans enjoys spending time with his family and niece. He believes in preaching and teaching the word of God.
